Project: Flat Creek Prescribed Fire Snow Avalanche Risk Assessment

Client: Parks Canada Agency

This report assesses the potential snow avalanche risk resulting from the proposed Flat Creek prescribed fire. The proposed fire would burn an area of roughly 620 hectares, with potential increases in avalanche risk to both CP Rail and the Trans-Canada Highway.
