Project: Mt Ruapehu (Turoa) – Avalanche Hazard Management Program Review

Client: Ruapehu Alpine Lifts Ltd.

Dynamic provided independent external expertise to review avalanche hazard management practices at the Mt Ruapehu ski area, including review of the winter operations program and potential long-term risk to infrastructure. The review included two field investigations, a complete review of the avalanche atlas, avalanche runout modelling, review of potential permanent mitigation structures as well as potential RACS locations.
