Project: Hostile Planet – Avalanche Control & Safety

Client: Plimsoll Productions Ltd., National Geographic

Hostile Planet is series of programmes being produced for National Geographic. The series is being filmed around the world in a variety of different habitats. In March 2018, Plimsoll Productions Ltd. filmed a number of triggered avalanches in the area surrounding Revelstoke, BC. DAC provided consultation regarding filming locations and time frames, and provided avalanche control services using explosives as part of the filming process.
