Project: Coastal GasLink LNG Pipeline – Avalanche Hazard Assessment and Mapping

The proposed pipeline begins in northeastern BC and terminates on the west coast, and will cross through avalanche areas in the northern Rocky Mountains and the Coast Range. Dynamic mapped avalanche hazards, performed an avalanche hazard assessment, and provided conceptual level recommendations to mitigate avalanche risk to the pipeline. Avalanche safety services were also provided for personnel working on the Coastal GasLink pipeline alignment during the winter.
