David is a Professional Geoscientist and Avalanche Professional with over 10 years of experience in engineering geology, geological hazard assessment, and avalanche risk management. He joined Dynamic in 2025 and has worked in the avalanche industry since 2009, supporting projects in the mining, energy, railway, forestry, and ski area sectors through hazard mapping, risk assessment, and operational forecasting. David holds a Bachelor of Science with a focus in Physical Geography, Geomatics, and Earth Science from the University of Victoria and contributes to professional standards through his roles with Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s Natural Resources and Natural Hazards Advisory Group and the Canadian Avalanche Association’s Ethics and Standards Committee. David is based in Cumberland, British Columbia.
