Dan is a backcountry ski guide and avalanche professional based in the Kootenay Region of BC. Certified as a Ski Guide with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, Dan has a diverse background in both guiding and avalanche forecasting. His experience includes working in a range of heli-skiing, ski touring, and industrial avalanche programs across Western Canada. Dan has also completed the Canadian Avalanche Association’s Level 3 Certificate in Applied Avalanche Risk Management and has provided avalanche and mountain safety support to the mining, forestry, and tourism sectors.
